4,000 gallon per minute (gpm) operation with multiple pumping stations and a pipeline run of more than three miles. Material was unique with a low pH and major concerns for weather events that could cause overflow if flow rate is not maintained.
Project included feasibility study, detailed construction estimate, coordination between several engineering disciplines, site visits, and close work with the client.
CGK was able to make several changes from the original client proposed design that save money, make the operation more reliable, and save on equipment purchases and lead time.
Detailed design of pumping stations was modeled in AutoCAD Plant-3D to allow for coordination between the engineering disciplines and provide accurate isometrics for pipe fabrication.
